Course Description

Making data informed decisions is important to the success of an organization. These decisions require understanding the nuances of the situation, often best identified through qualitative data, using smaller data sets that go deeper into a concept. In this hands-on, pragmatic course you will learn to do a situation audit to define and understand the key problem and from whom to obtain the right data. We will then identify steps on how to acquire and then analyze the data to make strategic decisions. In this 7 week course we will approach qualitative data practically, developing a toolkit to approach the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ of a problem through individual qualitative research projects.

Learner Outcomes

When you complete the course successfully, you will be able to:
  • Define a key problem you are trying to solve
