This course is designed for students who may have previously studied biology but need a refresher on the main concepts in biomedical science as well as students without a science background who wish to gain a foundation in basic biological mechanisms. This course is a continuation of Foundations in Biomedical Science I.

Learner Outcomes

When you complete the course successfully, you will be able to:

  • Trace the flow of genetic information at the intracellular level, from DNA to protein
  • Summarize the cell cycle
