Bundle Registration: 4 Workshop Bundle (COMM 001, COMM 002, COMM 003, and COMM 004)

Format: This workshop will meet from 10am-3pm ET for four consecutive weeks.

This workshop will train participants in translating complex research into clear, audience-appropriate language; identify the needs of a given audience and tailor a message to it; structure a scientific narrative that moves from problem to method to impact; and apply storytelling techniques that hold an audience's attention. Just as important, each participant leaves with finished work rather than notes alone. Across the four sessions, every participant will have produced:
- a revised, plain-language version of a dense passage from their own abstract;
- a three-sentence lay summary of their research;
- an abstract restructured using the ABT narrative framework;
- a completed Message Box targeting at least two distinct audiences;
- a polished two-minute research pitch, delivered live and revised after structured feedback

Material: participants bring one piece of scientific writing e.g. an abstract, Specific Aims page or similar
