This microcredential is for researchers, analysts, data professionals, and biomedical scientists who want to strengthen their understanding of statistics and quantitative methods for research, epidemiology, data analysis, and AI-driven discovery.

Requirements

• 5-6 credits from any three of the following courses:
  • STAT 101 I Introduction to Statistics
  • STAT 515 I Statistics for Biomedical Researchers
  • STAT 323 I Introduction to Epidemiology for Biomedical Researchers
  • STAT 504 I Fundamentals of Quantitative and Statistical Thinking for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • MATH 410 I Essential Math for AI and Data Science
• Students must earn a letter grade of C or above or a “pass” if the course is pass/fail. Audited courses do not qualify toward a digital badge.
• Programming completed in the last 5 calendar years can be applied toward the digital badge.
