Requirements

• 5-6 credits from any three of the following courses:
  • BIOF 309 I Introduction to Python
  • BIOF 501 I Introduction to R
  • BIOF 475 I Introduction to Data Science
  • BIOF 539 I Data Visualization in R
  • BIOF 521 I Bioinformatics for the Analysis of Data Generated by Next Generation Sequencing
  • BIOF 518 I Theoretical and Applied Bioinformatics: DNA and Proteins
  • BIOF 519 I Theoretical and Applied Bioinformatics: Genomics and Metagenomics
  • STAT 101 I Introduction to Statistics
  • STAT 515 I Statistics for Biomedical Researchers
• Students must earn a letter grade of C or above or a “pass” if the course is pass/fail. Audited courses do not qualify toward a digital badge.
• Programming completed in the last 5 calendar years can be applied toward the digital badge.
