Start at FAES, finish at some of the region's top institutions.

FAES has partnered with area universities to offer FAES Academic Programs students unique academic opportunities and pathways of study toward degree completion.

Graduate School at Hood College, Frederick, Maryland

FAES coursework can be applied toward flexible graduate programs at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Upon acceptance to Hood College's master’s or certificate programs in bioinformatics, health informatics, project management and other areas, students may submit their official FAES transcript for course-transfer review by the program director. Approved FAES courses can be combined to meet Hood College requirements.  Final approval must be issued by program chair for any course transfer.

University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC)

If accepted into UMBC’s MPS in Data Science, FAES students may transfer selected FAES credits to UMBC. Conversely, qualified UMBC data science students may take up to 9 credits from selected FAES technology transfer, bioinformatics and data science courses, to be transferred as pathway courses into UMBC’s MPS in Data Science. Additional credits may be transferred from FAES to fulfill core program requirements within the UMBC MPS (https://professionalprograms.umbc.edu/home/partnerships).

Harrisburg University

FAES students who successfully complete the FAES Advanced Studies in Technology Transfer or Advanced Studies in Bioinformatics, Harrisburg University will award 6 credits toward its Master of Science in Biotechnology (https://www.harrisburgu.edu/news/nih-transfer-agreement/).

 

Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH)

FAES students who have completed certain courses at FAES in chemistry, pharmacology, public health, and toxicology may transfer credits, if accepted into MUIH’s graduate programs in integrative health (https://muih.edu/admissions/articulation-agreements/).
